One of those strange Sunday nights, much like Munich earlier in the tour where Robert just keeps playing, and playing. This is one of the great sets of the tour. While it may not have been there tightest performance (inside sources), who cared as the setlist was terrific. Ill trade in 8 minutes worth of "End" in the main set anyday to get the extra encores if this is the result. An akward version of "Like Cockatoos" was snuck into the setlist, and the Pornography encore made its way back into the set...The Final two songs are the definition of the "Dreamtour"...I challenge anyone to find any two more dreamy sounding songs in the Cure live catalog to finish a show with.  If you have seen this encore you know what I am talking about, if you havent you can only imagine it. So I know all of you in Oberhausen are asking the golden question "what did we do wrong" probably nothing, it was just one of those nights!! Maybe some of this has to do with that fact the end is in sight for the european tour, the light at the end of the tunnel with only 4 more left so they can play till they drop next Monday in Rome and then get some sleep.
