staticwhitesound utilizes a computer
based hard-disk system for recording. analog to digital conversion is
via outboard 24-bit converters which are transformer and optically isolated,
eliminating any problems with ground loops or other noise which would
interfere with the sonic quality.
best results are obtained when the mixing
desk has pre-fader direct outs. pre-fader inserts jacks can work in
most cases utilizing staticwhitesound's insertadapterstm, even
if your sound engineer needs to use the inserts. if the mixer is
unsuitable or inaccessible for pre-fader outputs, we can utilize active
microphone splitters and separate preamps under special arrangement.
recorded tracks are archived to DVD-R in their native 24-bit wave file format for use with PC or Mac based
digital audio
workstations.
